Old Pictures
These are pictures of my folks and me. It's crazy to think that in these pictures, both of them are younger than how old I am now.
chris...100% southern. he has switched to cigars now and has a lawn mower with a joystick instead of a steering wheel. that's the way we bonded - mowing the lawn together. i guess it was nice for him because we didn't have to listen to each other over the roar of the machine.
My parents were older than I am now when I was born (sounds like some sort of riddle), but not by much. I look just like my dad when he was this age, which is encouraging since he still has all of his hair now.
neal - my mom was 21 in this picture. she had my brother at 17. i can't imagine having a child right now and i'm 27!
jege - ha. i will put $100 down that he said goddammit within 1 minute before or after (or both) that the picture was taken. DOG IN THE HOUSE THAT DOESN'T BELONG!

This is the first time I have seen pictures of your parents. Well other than that drawing of your mom. You were so cute.
I love the requisite cigarette in your dad's hand. I don't know if your dad is Southern, but he sure as hell looks it.

Ah, I can almost hear him saying "Goddamn it!"....great pictures!

Those are wonderful pix!
My rents had a 2-year old (Jege) by the time they were my age. It's pretty freaky to think about.
