Awesome

Well, it's official. I will be going here for a couple of weeks in January. I'm starting to get a little freaked out about the whole thing especially after the kidnappings. When did I become so career-driven that I would put myself in a position where terrible things could happen to me? When I was in college, I was all Damn-the-Man! and now I am bending over for him.

Time for a re-evaluation?

Hope they are giving you hazard pay. Talk to your Embasy, I don't want to have to reinact my own version of Chuck Norris' "missing in action"

You'll be alright. This experience will open your mind a great deal. Some things are worth the risk. Besides, Superman and his side-kick, Lance Armstrong, have your back.

I don't know how much international travel you have done ... but I am thinking Nigeria is a good way to start with a positive experience. Like most things, you get out of it what you put in but Nigerians, and Africans in general, are magically some of the nicest friggin' people on the planet.

Wow, that will be quite the experience. I cannot believe you are actually going. You are definitely going to get some stories from it. Just think of it as a life building experience.
