Love You Dad!

Crysti,
Sure! I would always enjoy having lunch with you! First.....I trust your
judgment. If you think it is a good deal and you like it... you don't
need me to tell you different. How is the weather? Would it be better
for me to test drive it on a day that is not so stormy? The car looks great!!! Your
Mom would not let me have one like that. She would think that the only
reason an old man drives a car like that is to find young women. Besides
I would have to fall in and out of that car. I would like to drive it
when you think you want someone else to drive it. I am impressed. I am
also very proud of you.

This is quite an emotional email for the old man. Even when I tell him I love him, he gets all uncomfortable and starts shifting in his seat and says things like, "SOOO, D'ja get yer oil changed?" or "Whadaya feel like havin for dinner?"

if it showed up in the garage would your mom shout "CAR IN THE GARAGE THAT DOESN'T BELONG!"?
jege - it came from his work email, so there weren't any. however, i could feel them there and that's what counts, right?
HF - are you kidding me? my mom wouldn't let me have it back if it wound up in her garage - finder's keepers and 'under MY roof' and all that parent BS. :)

Aren't dads great? Well, I'm glad that you are enjoying this moment, Crystal, the new car, dad gettin' emotional, telling me about Jello babies. It's been quite a week for you, hasn't it? I think I'll have a party, in your honor:)
He's right about the old man/young woman thing though. Now I feel dirty.
My dad always wants my sisters to get 'safe' cars but he thinks it's cool when I'm looking at sports cars and motorcycles. I'm not sure what message that sends me.
