you are-uh my frin

1. My best friend & boyfriend threw a surprise party for me on Saturday night. It was fun. There were a lot of people there. People even came from out of town (Thanks J&M and G&B!!) I am generally an asshole so I am pretty sure everyone just showed up for the cheap beer and the hopes of seeing the shorts-clad mailman crush a twelve year old girl. Good times. AND! I got presents, y’all! People actually gave me things without me having to poke them with a knife! I got gift cards and a cookbook and some lotion and a sweater and a digital frame and 12 pairs of crazy socks and bunch of stuff for the Sex Box (including WD40, Easy Cheese a baby bottle and a beef stick – Ryan also bought a surprise for 50 cents from the Fantasy machine in the bathroom).

2. On Saturday night, Jeanie and Mike brought their dogs Storm and Pepper. Bogey, Ryan's dog, was absolutely smitten with Storm and followed her around and loved on her and then she would kick his ass for a little bit and he would take it like a champ and love on her some more. He didn’t even try to hump her on the first night. He obviously does not take after his owner.

Here is Bogey giving Storm The Look. He such a ladies man. He is, like, the James Bond of canines.

And then she mounted his face.

After they left, Bogey moped around and would occasionally wonder around the house looking for Storm. It was sad. We are going to have to get him a girlfriend.

3. Last night Ryan took me out for sushi and got me a necklace from Fly High Little Bunny and a gift certificate to go skydiving. Yays! I hope I don’t die. Or peepee on my instructor. He also gave me these flowers which I didn’t even notice for the first hour I was home. He did a great job!

4. I will be in England for work all next week so I will be either writing on here a whole lot or not at all depending on if I can find a pub near my hotel with [cold] inexpensive beers.

5. This is a very cool website. You answer some questions and it tells you which presidential candidate’s platform matches with your views. I am equal parts Clinton and Obama. My grandma is going to be pissed.

Does that say, "I love you more than beans?"

Wow, he must really love you. I didn't say that until I was well into my second year of marriage. And that was after 3 margaritas and a full basket of chips.

Ha! You made me laugh out loud in my office.

Seriously though, you don't understand how much the guy loves beans.

..and I love him more than pickles.

in ENGLAND? wtf?
i make a great carry-on, ya know...

i'll even carry your clothes and only respond in clicks and gestures so people think you're really important and well off to have a man servant... honest.

yer entry made me guffaw some juice right across my office desk, so thanks for that.

canine face humping has that effect on me, what can i say.

safe travels, and hope those flowers are left in some water...

As I just navigated Heathrow airport on Tuesday-- I'd like to advise you to go to the duty free shop and purchase a Longchamp purse because I didn't and now I regret it.

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!! You just need to imagine me singing it completely off pitch and in between sips of wine that I'm toasting your birthday with.

I've never been to that airport. This is what the longchamp purse that I keep almost buying looks like. http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/ProductDetail.jsp?JSESSIONID=HG6JW7HQJ14GZyYhyNy9gvz1ZJDs2QSrKZ7xQLDXmbCHQ5j5Dcj4!1529712580&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524446148869&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=282574492709211&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474399545537&bmUID=1199995572540

I was the really small one in plum... it was staring me down in the airport. That could've just been my imagination since I had already been 24 hours in transit.

The only way you're going to find a cold beer over there is if it's been outside... or it's shitty. But I hear the opium is bomb.

Can your boy coach my boy on birthday stuff?

Also, I never discussed politics with my grandparents. My life was a lot easier that way.
